In case anyone’s wondering

I’m still having the stomach pains I blogged about a couple of weeks ago.  And no, I haven’t been to a doctor. We are between insurances. I’ve been able to work a bit more solid food into my diet — eggs, white bread, some tuna, and just yesterday graham crackers, and my stomach will hurt, but not the Holy Hell I’m gonna die kind of hurting that made me stop eating solid food in the first place. I’ve started tracking my food intake and I keep getting yelled at by my food diary app for not eating enough (should be a min of 1200 calories a day and; yep, that’s gonna make my gut complain).

I can’t cheat, my body won’t let me… >_<

The reason why I haven’t gone running to the doctor is because pain is my only symptom. I don’t have any unusual bowel symptoms — everything is the right color and all that.  I don’t have a fever, nor am I chilly. I’m not more or less tired than usual. Though I do find it strange that despite eating an average of 1000 calories a day for about two weeks now, I haven’t lost any significant weight. You’da thought I’da lost at least some water weight. But nope, nothing worth mentioning. A pound, maybe two, but I’m not getting excited over that. Our body fluctuates that much all the time. Not that I’m trying to lose weight, mind you. I just thought it would happen with this strict eating regime my body’s forced me onto. I’ll probably mention that when I finally do go to the doctor’s.

Anyway, thought I’d update y’all on what’s what. I know, exciting huh? But yeah, that’s what’s been going on. Other than knitting and playing around with my mod for Fallout 4. Neither of those require much in the way of moving around — something else that makes my gut complain if I do too much of it.

Being between medical insurance is very sucky and worrisome, but if the pain increases, PLEASE go to an ER. Please. This almost killed me. All of the symptoms you don’t have don’t mean ANYTHING. You want to live, right?

The thing is that something could have occurred (like your appendix bursting) and this pain is the fall out from it. I know personally of a case where someone’s appendix burst and they weren’t aware it had, didn’t die from the event, and years later went in for some other surgery (gall bladder maybe or something in the gut anyway) and the doctor found all these adhesions and mess in the abdominal area which were constricting some of the organs. After they cleaned it all out, the person involved felt loads better. So something perhaps to think about?
