Do you like my decorations?

Don’t ask me why, but today’s prompt brought this video to mind. ^_^ Maybe because the little tree is so… jolly.

We haven’t put our tree up, and I haven’t sent out Christmas cards. I had plans to make them and sent them out, but we’ll probably buy some and send them. If I can find people’s addresses that is. It’s been a couple of years since we’ve sent them out because I’ve been sick, and Doug doesn’t do Christmas cards. Oh well, there’s always next year, right? Not that either of us actually celebrate Christmas (we’re both Agnostic) but people in our lives do, and it’s nice to send them cards for their holiday.

We plan on putting up the tree today. It’s a small, plastic affair that’s already lit. I think we’ll give away the big one because it’s way too much bother to put together. It looks great when it is put together, but the time it takes to put up and take down? So not worth the effort anymore.  The smaller one looks good too. ^_^  And it takes no time at all to decorate. We’ve got to think about these things as we get older and more fragile. You know?

And now, because I tried to think of anything else to do with “jolly” I have “Have a Holly Jolly Christmas” stuck in my head.  grrr. >_<

♪♫♪♫ Have a holly JOLLY Christmas… ♪♫♪ heh heh heh

I watched that little video clip last year (or maybe this summer. It was just so damned hot that anything remotely ‘cold’ was refreshing)…and I laughed myself silly. Where DO they get those voices??? Or how do they maintain them without just cracking up and laughing and ruining the clip? Bwahaha.
