Migraine hangover

Yesterday I had a migraine. It was pretty bad. The migraine is gone today, but I still feel like hell. Light and sound still hurt, my gut still feels blah, and I have no energy whatsoever, but at least nothing is trying to cut its way out of my head (yet).

I’m just letting y’all know I’m alive and kicking, and totally not up to posting at the moment.

That sucks, sorry–I have only had a few of the crawl-on-the-ground-and-maybe-puke type, and I feel really sorry for anyone who has them ever. Happy dark and quiet and painfree peace to you–

I’ve been dealing with these since I was… thirteen? I think. For a long time. I’ve eliminated a lot of my triggers, but I still get blindsided every once in a while. Luckily, this one has only lasted for a couple of days (so far… it appears to be dissipating). I’ve had migraines last up to two weeks. Not fun. Thanks for the well wishes.

My sympathies. Have your hubby (given you can stand the sound of walking) bring you cool compresses for your brow and whatever you take to ward off the migraine. Ow. We’ll be here when you’re up to sitting and typing without your head wanting to split open. 😦

Right now, I’m okay with sound, so long as it’s not loud… Like I can type here for a little bit, but god, don’t ask me to think or anything. ^_^ It seems to be letting up a lot. My gut is a different story. Like whatever triggered the migraine is moving downward. Blah.
