More Photoshop fun

I swear this isn’t gonna turn into a photoshop blog… I’ll get sick of it eventually (maybe), but I’m actually pretty proud of this.  So I saw this pic go by on my windows background slideshow — yes, my Skyrim (and Fallout 4) screenshots are my Windows background… don’t judge me! Anyway, I saw this screenshot on my background

and wondered, Can I remove that dude from the picture in Photoshop? I mean, I know it can be done, but can I do it? I mean, he looks like he’s about to punch my character or something. But he’s just doing what most followers do… lurking. Still, it’s kinda creepy. Besides, he totally photobombed my screenshot. >_< NPCs have a habit of doing that.

So I totally took him out of the picture:

I also cropped it a bit and prettied it up, but yeah. Let me tell you something, dear reader, taking him out was not easy. But I think the end result isn’t too bad. It would have been much more difficult if there was a bunch of stuff in the background. I had a difficult time with the base board (I know nothing of shadows), and the lute where he cut it off looks pretty awful. I’m not an artist, okay? I can’t draw for nuthin’ especially with a mouse.  But all in all, I think it came out okay. ^_^

Edited to add… I also wanted to share the picture I put in yesterday’s post. The original came from a quote generator I use often for my blog called Quozio. Type in your quote and they’ll pop it onto one of a number of backgrounds with various fonts. The original quote I generated yesterday looked like this:

During-the-day-I-dont (1)

But I wanted to give it some pop.  So I messed around in Photoshop and made it look like this:

Good work removing the guy. I can do that, but I’m not good at it, so I only do it when i absolutely have NO choice.

You can use Photoshop to write texts on backgrounds too. I do it whenever I need to show an important quote or something like that.

Yeah, I’ve used Photoshop for that too, but finding a good background is… eh. I often like quick and easy tools for quoting texts.
