I’m gonna post a gallery of pictures that I’ve been I’ve been messing around with in Photoshop. Most of them are just playing around with the oil paint filter and some other things to try and make my Skyrim screen shots look like something else. It’s for an idea of a mod I have — and to pass the time really because, honestly, I have nothing else to do. Besides, it’s kinda fun, and I’m learning something. So, bonus! Right? And it doesn’t cost nuthing. Okay other than the cost of Photoshop, which I bought for something else. So anyway, Here’s what I’ve come up with so far:
So, these are my portraits…in random order… Like, I’m thinking of putting virtual frames on them and putting them in a virtual mansion. Tell me what y’all think.
I’ve also been trying my hand at landscapes, which are much harder. Like there’s so much going on in a landscape. But I’ve been giving it a shot with varying results. Here are a few of my kinda finished pieces…
And the last filter I’ve been messing with is the one that makes pictures look like old photographs — which isn’t as easy as it sounds. I’ve only got a few of those, but here’s what I’ve done so far.
So that’s what I’ve been filling my days with. Let me know what you think.
I did notice that most of these pictures look way different depending on which monitor I have them on. Like if I have them on the big monitor they’re light and kinds of icky (to me) but if i have them on my laptop I they look okay, but Doug says they look dark on his screen. So I calibrated my laptop monitor (it was a little dark) yesterday. I’ll have to calibrate the other monitor soon. Hopefully that will help with future pictures. Hopefully.
Most of the stuff I learned how to do was from experimenting and from following the tutorials on this website or a combination of both. ^_^
