Cee’s B&W Photo Challenge

I’m late to this week’s challenge, but it’s been a slow week for me. I’ve been feeling kind of down lately. Just blah. And I’ve been tired. So… tired. But anyway. I don’t have any pictures I’ve taken of birds that would make good black and white. So I downloaded a picture from this site: Pexels which has a ton of pictures to chose from. I wanted to see what a peacock would look like in black and white, so I chose this picture (from this author)

I love peacocks.  If I had room and energy, I’d have an entire fowl farm with ducks, chickens, turkeys, peafowl, and all kinds of birds. But I guess that’s just not meant to be.

Anyway, this is what I came up with after fiddling a bit in Photoshop.

I was trying to keep some of the green tint, like a hint of it but not too much. And I think it came out okay. Sorry I didn’t get this out sooner… but life kinda happens when one isn’t looking. 🙂

I wish I could take credit for the color… but a photographer I am not. Just someone who plays in Photoshop. ^_^ I linked the photographers website in the post.
