Do you do Proust?

I’ve tried to read proust many times in my Literature learning career. I have. I’ve been assigned many Proust writings and I’ve been told that he was considered a genius and influential. A real path blazer when it came to writing. Me? I didn’t like much of what I read of Proust, but I’m not really a fan.  Anyway, this questionnaire, popularized by Proust, according to Vanity Fair (from whence it sprang), has been making the rounds. I, myself got it from Embeecee.  She has interesting answers. Go read them.  I present you the questions here.  I’ll answer them in my next post.

The Proust Questionnaire has its origins in a parlor game popularized (though not devised) by Marcel Proust, the French essayist and novelist, who believed that, in answering these questions, an individual reveals his or her true nature. Here is the basic Proust Questionnaire.

Don’t ask me. 🙂 Ask Vanity Fair, they’re the ones who said the questions would reveal our “true selves”… or was it Proust? Proust might have said it. He was such a “deep thinker” you know.
