Cee’s BnW Photo Challenge — Signs

So, my energy level is about 0 these days, and my cognitive ability is about the same. In other words… I’m just too tired to do things.

But I do have enough energy to fuss with Photoshop… I mean that doesn’t require much brain power at all. And since I do everything with a mouse, I hardly have to move. Win win for me. So yay!  These entries for this week’s challenge are screenshots from my Skyrim game. I’ve been collecting screenshots since I started playing over three years ago, and for some reason I cannot find a lot of them, I know I had a bunch of them with signs in them. I know this because I did a playthrough of Skyrim where my character was a “tourist” and took selfies at all of the crossroads and city entrances. But I can’t seem to find those. I’m way too tired to look for them right now too.

Ah well, I have these two pictures:

While the first isn’t strictly just a sign, it has a sign in it, and hopefully that counts. ^_^  Anyway, here’s what I came up with:

I was going for “spooky” with this one, which is why it’s overly dark. Of course, the original was dark to begin with, so I can hardly be blamed for that. Right? I am also trying to figure out the “render light effects” tool in Photoshop. It’s an interesting tool and it’s fun learning it. But it’s not very intuitive. At least I don’t think so. Of course I could watch a couple of videos or look at some article about it, but what’s the fun in that? ^_^ I’ll probably do that later just to see how I’m using it wrong. Ha!

I like the way this one turned out. Kind of like an etching I think.  It took a long time to get something I was happy with — probably because of the tiny leaves. But I like it.

So there you go. Hope you enjoyed my submission. Thanks, as always, Cee, for hosting the challenge. I look forward to the next one. 🙂
