Words are hard. >_>

++++++++++++++++++++++++obstaclesIt took me, like, five tries to come up with a title, y’all. Five flipping tries. My mind is mush. Mush I tell ya!  I’m pretty sure my thyroid is wonky again. My nails are breaking off left and right, I’m gaining weight again, I’m exhausted beyond all reason, and I can’t think for nuthin’. I have a doctor’s appointment next Monday — unless they reschedule it again — it’s already been rescheduled twice — so I will ask them to check my levels. Because this is getting ridiculous, dear reader. Downright ridiculous. If it’s not my thyroid level that’s causing me to brain stupidly, then I have no idea what the problem is, because honestly, I’m walking around like a zombie on stupid pills.  Bleerrrrgghhh! Arrrgghhh!

Ah well, at least I can come here and complain about it to y’all. Just kidding! I don’t mean to whine at y’all, but it’s frustrating to not be able to write a sentence without hitting the backspace key.  At least I’m not writing in ink anymore. Then it’s scratch it out until I get frustrated and tear the page out of the journal. Yep, I totally tore pages out of my journals. I know that some people would never do such a thing, but I’m not one of those people. When I was in college, I totally tore whole chapters out of my textbooks so I could carry just the chapter to class instead of the entire book. What? I was middle-aged and those fricking books are heavy!  I paid for the stupid things, they were mine to do with as I pleased. And at the end of the semester, I shredded them like the overpriced trash they were. It’s not like the book store was going to give me much for them anyway. I always bought used books whenever possible and half the time the bookstore wouldn’t buy them back. But I digress.

So anyway, I haven’t been doing much these past few days. Mostly watching videos and playing my latest video game. I can’t play too much of it at once because of the way the camera works — it makes me a little nauseated sometimes. But it’s still kinda fun to mess around with the homes and play interior decorator. I also like watching other people play it and compare tastes. Because everyone has different tastes, and while I might think that other peoples’ decor looks good (like the video I posted the other day), I wouldn’t do the same in my homes. I’m way more… I dunno… classical? I guess in my tastes. Nah, not classical… I can’t think of the word… casual maybe. I like my home to have a comfortable feel. Fewer hard lines and more fluffy cushions. Stuff like that. I don’t need art on the walls, but it’s nice to have practical stuff that looks nice. If that makes sense.

This paint looks white-ish here, but it’s silver in game…

The game is limited in what they offer for decorating, so it’s a bit of a challenge to decorate to my tastes — and the developers themselves admitted that it’s difficult to decorate to the customers in the game even. They were working under a deadline and didn’t have a lot of time to implement the customer aspect of the game. But they’re working on an update that will hopefully fix that. I guess I should stop talking about this game though, because it isn’t all that exciting and it’s not that important in the grand scheme of things, but it’s what I’ve been doing lately. Because honestly, I don’t have the brain power to do much of anything else.

I’ve been feeling stupid lately too. I think it’s a disease. I don’t know what disease. The American Stupid disease? But I am also absolutely exhausted … and I’m not doing anything worth noting, either. I’m getting done what needs doing, but not one bit more! I think I have a sinus infection. It’s that time of year again and I also have a headache that lasts forever.

I highly doubt that being stupid is regulated to Americans. I know some pretty stupid people from all over the world, and some visa versa. Of course there are intelligent people world wide too, but that’s neither here nor there. I don’t know what’s causing my brain dumbness, but I’m pretty sure it isn’t being born in the USofA. I’ll bank on that.

I’m also getting sinus headaches these days. Blah.

Aw. You’re not whining, you’re ridding your brain of excess crabby stuff that may be hindering it’s function. I get it. So write as you can (and this post was excellent despite your trouble with the title…I forget those damned buggers now and again, and one can’t add them after one has pressed “Publish” on the damned things)… and just relax. Your house mods are beautiful and tasteful and anyone with today’s tastes would love to buy them…. soooo!
