10 Frankenstein was created by who, and how did they come up with the idea and why? I wrote a paper about this in college, so I have an advantage here. The story of Frankenstein and his monster was written by Mary Shelley and she purportedly came up with idea during a conversation while on holiday and wrote the book over a weekend as a challenge or something. It’s an interesting book.
