Errggg Arrgghh

Why is it, that whenever I go out into the really real world lately, I wake up sick the next day? I first caught this stupid cold when I went shopping with Doug in the beginning of October.  He was sick for a few days, and I was sick for a month. A month, dear reader! >_<  Okay, I didn’t have the full blown cold for a month (about two weeks), but I had this stupid cough for that long. Then I finally felt better and went to my knitting group and the next day, I woke up with the stupid cold again — cough, sore throat, the whole thing! It only lasted a couple of days… except the cough, but still. So I felt better yesterday — enough to run errands. And today, I woke up feeling like crap again! Cough, sore throat, blankity-blank sinuses all blocked up, and all over achy-ness and blah. What the hell, body? What the ever-loving hell?

It’s not fair.

Stupid body.

Awwwwww ❤ at the photo…someone's got themselves a great 'nest' right there… feel better soon..and why do you keep catching the same 'bug' shit over and over and over? I was told that it's because those of us who don't get out too much have less immunity to the crap that is floating around these days and I tend to believe it. Like you, if I mingle with the public, I'm almost guaranteed to feel like death for a few days afterward. Now "they" need to work on a way to boost one's immune system without making the ill person drink or eat stuff that tastes like crap and is guaranteed to make some of us puke. Air Bourne (sp?) or that Emerg-C stuff? Makes me throw up. Zinc? Makes me distinctly uncomfortable. Yeah. Boost my immune. FEH. So there is a REASON, it's just not a tolerable one … sorry. 😦

I used to take Air-Borne (or whatever it’s called) when I worked as a substitute teacher. I didn’t mind it, but I didn’t really notice much of a difference in how I felt overall either. I wouldn’t mind feeling blah now and again, but I feel like this is a continuation of the cold I’ve had all of October with just a day or two of relief in between. Blech.
